Stu from Kyoto, JapanSuperb shot jc! Love the tones, your processing here is fantastic. excellent work! 16 Jan 2007 5:21am @Stu: cheers Stu! Aaron Schmidt from Auckland, New ZealandI'd hate to be lost here ... this is evil. 16 Jan 2007 5:34am @Aaron Schmidt: Luckily enough i wasn't completely lost, Aaron - I guess i can see where you're coming from with the trees from hell feel, thanks for the comment.. @H.O: Thanks for all the recent comments H.O! Bronnie from Christchurch, New ZealandOh incredible! Not an evil feeling for me, more of a peaceful, soft image - maybe it's the mist. Lovely, lovely, lovely! 16 Jan 2007 9:02am @Bronnie: thanks Bronnie! @Lucca's café: thanks Lucca! the shot was a result of mist amongst the trees and a very steep slope. @Makoto: Thanks Makoto-san! It was taken on the trail of Takamizu Sanzan, near Mitake, outside Tokyo. What is Suibokuga? I haven't heard the word before. @benjamin: glad you like it, Benjamin, thanks for the comment! Carol from TurkeyBeautiful. It draws you in. I'd love to see the whole pic - don't you find the portrait size annoying? 16 Jan 2007 2:07pm @Carol: Thanks for the comment, Carol! I suppose the portrait size is annoying in as far as you can only view a part of the shot at one time. Craiger from Vacaville, California, United StatesI absolutely love this shot! It is as good as I have seen. I would hang that on my wall if I were you. You should print that up and sell it! 16 Jan 2007 3:27pm @Craiger: Thanks Craiger! Paul Ricciardi from West Hartford, United StatesWow, what a shot. The vertical lines here are tremendous as is the overall subtle qualities to it. Nicely executed. 16 Jan 2007 3:43pm agathe from pau, Franceoooooooooooimage effrayante, on a l'impression de voir des personnes se détacher dans la brume...quel oeil! 16 Jan 2007 10:28pm Makoto from Sapporo, JapanHi, jc. Here is a little "Suibokuga" info. 17 Jan 2007 1:19am Evelyn from New Milford, United StatesIt's got a great ghostly atmosphere to it, especially in the Japanese sense of ghostliness: no feet. 18 Jan 2007 3:23am Chris Sullivan from Melbourne, AustraliaAmazing is all I can say. Wow. Excellent capture of light and great post-production. You have a great collection of photos here! 19 Jan 2007 10:35pm Fred from Easton PA, United StatesGreat image ! The fog leading to the darkness gives this an almost bottomless pit effect . 30 Jan 2007 3:19pm |
