i like the framing.. lots of detail. but find the depths of field abit shallow... perhaps its cos i dont understand the words and thats what the essence of the photo is.. still, like the tones youve captured..
Lots going on in this one. The 'disembodied' frozen gloves, a rather disturbing looking 'weapon of choice'...looks like a crime scene. A rather sombre effect in b/w...but it works so well.
Hmm I like the b/w tone because it gives it the timeless quality to it....you could see the same scene a 100 years ago and it'd still be the same scene =). Nicely done!
This b and w retouching is a tricky business - depending on how you twiddle with the RBG, you can make a photo that looks mid 19th century, late 19th century , early 20th century, or Italian new cinema! I like your experimentation - and the subject and composition are timeless.
